What steps are involved in the church planning process?
Often, the first step in church building planning is to identify physical and spiritual goals with your congregation encouraging feedback and suggestions. Key to any successful building plan is to include the users in the design process. The Master-Site Plan and Conceptual Building Design should be developed together as a cohesive design. Crosspointe offers a unique preliminary design solution called the Design Summit Workshop. Call for the details - this is a unanimously successful approach.
The next step is presentation plans and artist’s renderings ( and perhaps a video animation) so you can launch your fundraising campaign. The next two steps are design development - where the details are finalized and, lastly, the construction drawings are completed from which building is built.

Our exclusive "Design Summit Workshop" provides a process for collective visual brainstorming between Crosspointe Architects and designated church members/leaders. This architectural building design process involves real building users (church people) to incorporate specific knowledge of the programs and mission which will improve the design itself and can compress the preliminary design process from many months to a few weeks.
